AUSL Professor recognized for judicial achievement

Judge Joselito DJ. Vibandor, who teaches Civil Procedure, was chosen by the Philippine Judge Association as one of 16 recipients of the Judicial Achievement Awards for his achievements as a regional trial court judge. Formal rites will be held at Anniversary Ball of the Association at The Venue in Davao City on 16 October 2008 at 7 p.m.

 

Judge Vibandor is the Executive Judge of Las Piñas City as well as the Presiding Judge of Branch 199 (Family Court) of the Regional Trial Court of Las Pinas City. He earned the degrees of AB Political Science and Bachelor of Laws from San Beda College of Law.

Commissioner Josue A.  San Pedro, a member of the Arellano Law Foundation Board of Trustees and former Associate Commissioner of the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation, said his last good bye on 26 May 2008. He was 71.

Commissioner San Pedro graduated from the law school in 1962. He taught Insurance, Agency, Transportation, Criminal Procedure, Administration Law and Remedial Law.

The Arellano Law community sponsored a mass in his memory on 27 May 2008 at Loyola Memorial Chapel, Guadalupe Makati.

Farewell, Dean Alejandro

Dean Eduardo V.  Alejandro, a member of the Arellano Law Foundation Board of Trustees and former Dean of the Arellano University School of Law Bataan, bid his last farewell on 3 May 2008. He was 56.

Dean Alejandro graduated from the law school in 1984. He taught Persons and Family Relations, Obligations and Contract, Property, Partnership, Civil Law I and II.

The Arellano Law community sponsored a mass in his memory on 7 May 2008 at Funeraria Paz, Araneta Avenue.
